tricia roos

Tricia is a Dallas native who built a winning career in sports and behind the admissions desk.  As director of admissions for the largest co-ed Catholic school in Texas for 16 years, she burst the seams of annual student applications. 

Tricia is a respected leader in innovative admissions practices through engaging parent groups, student groups and the school community as a part of the admissions process. She also has immense experience in branding, marketing and communicating effectively with prospective students and families to create a welcoming environment that engages and attracts mission-driven students. 

Tricia understands the importance of communicating a clear message to prospective families that emphasizes a value proposition as well as providing current students and parents the nurturing support they need to retain them at the school. Through years of implementing and creating strategic plans for the admissions office, she knows how to create obtainable, but lofty goals and achieve them.

Dr. Ron Steiner

A two-time graduate of Purdue University, Dr. Ron Steiner has over twenty years of experience in service industries (hotel, restaurant, travel agency, airline, non-profit, and, most recently, education) and has always focused on the use of technology in those industries. He is presently the Director of Informational Technology at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas. Ron earned a Ph.D. from the University of North Texas (College of Information, Department of Learning Technologies) in 2021 and has taught online and in-person at the secondary and post-secondary levels in addition to designing, developing, and delivering training in the corporate world.

When not working, Ron enjoys spending time with his wife, Melissa and playing his trumpet, much to the dismay of their insane rescue dog.

• Data clean-up, preparation for system migration

Lysette Flores

Lysette Flores is a consultant and educator currently working in Boston, Massachusetts. Her areas of focus are Catholic education, identity, and ministry. Lysette holds a Masters of Theological Studies from Harvard Divinity School and a Bachelors of Business Administration from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. She also studied education at Santa Clara University and participated in the Excellence in Catholic Education and Leadership program in the Diocese of San Jose. Lysette has taught and tutored K-12 students and directed the Campus Ministry program at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas. She currently works as the Assistant Director of Field Education at Harvard Divinity School and Program Manager of the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Ministry program at Syracuse University. 

Lysette provides personalized support to Catholic school educators looking to meaningfully develop their faith communities. She works to deeply understand the spiritual needs and opportunities of the school and collaborates with key stakeholders to address adaptive challenges.

Lori l. rodriguez

Lori L. Rodriguez has been professionally involved in education since 1999. Lori knows the importance of school digital communication and web presence. Working in admissions, communication and development departments, she understands the significance web design has on a school. She has successfully launched numerous school website redesigns, building beautiful websites that stand out, streamline communications and improve the admissions experience. She has produced several marketing campaigns, created and implemented social media strategies and email campaigns. Lori is passionate about helping schools and organizations build their digital footprint and make an impact in the community. She is dedicated to helping schools grow and succeed online.

  • Graphic design for marketing materials, logos, and other deliverables

susan morrissey

Susan Morrissey has served as a school leader in PK-12 Catholic and independent schools in New England and California for over 25 years.  Her work includes serving as the Associate Superintendent of Catholic Schools for Curriculum and Instruction for the Diocese of Providence, and she is currently serving as an Instructional/Leadership Coach for Boston College's Roche Center.

In 2018, the school she reinvented was recognized by the National Catholic Educational Association as one of the most innovative schools in the United States in their national publication, Momentum. In addition to her school experience, Susan worked as Senior Director of Academic Support for the Cambridge Institute of International Education, where she built and managed a multi-million dollar academic program in 107 schools across the United States. Susan holds a Master’s in Educational Administration from Boston College as well as a Bachelor’s of Arts in English from Saint Michael’s College.

dr. raul cardenas, jr.

Dr. Raul Cardenas, Jr. has served as the President & CEO of Mullen High School in Denver, CO since May 2019. Prior to his current position, he worked as the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs for the University of Colorado, Denver. During his long tenure at both CU Denver and the University of Northern Colorado, he has become aware that Colorado has some of the lowest rates in the country for students going to college. It is this statistic that has motivated his work.

Dr. Cardenas comes from a family of educators and learned very early the value of listening.  That early experience led him to higher education. Along the way, he started two charter high schools in Arizona for high-risk groups, so that those students would be on track to college. Since that experience 15 years ago, Cardenas has continued working to get young people into education pipelines. “In our society, we need to make sure people have opportunities to fulfill their dreams,” Cardenas says. “I want to positively impact every student.”

Dr. Cardenas earned his Bachelor’s Degree from Pepperdine University, his Masters from Northern Arizona State, and his PhD from Arizona State University (ASU).

steve sgambelluri

Embarking on his twenty second year in the field of education – the last fifteen of which have been at La Salle Institute – Steve Sgambelluri was named Principal of La Salle Institute in Troy, NY, on July 1, 2021. 

Throughout his journey in education, Steve has worn many hats. As a History teacher at Bishop Maginn High School, he taught 9th Grade World History and 12th Grade Popular History. He then moved onto The Albany Academies where he served as a 5th & 6th Grade History teacher and later served as the Associate Dean of Students for Upper School students. Along with his duties as Associate Dean of Students, he also served as the Director of Student Life and taught courses in Leadership. He arrived at La Salle Institute in 2008 as the Middle School Principal & Varsity Basketball coach. 

Steve has spent time developing presentations for faculty and staff across the country to help guide administrators with topics such as job burnout and discipline. He has also spent time mentoring newly appointed faculty and staff to find success in their role’s.

Drew merlino

Drew Merlino is a go-getter, enthusiastic, and a make-it-happen kind of guy. He was born and raised in Dallas, Texas and has been working for catholic schools for 6 years. Specializing in photography, videography, and social media, he is a perfect fit for any school.

What makes Drew so great is that he’s able to relate to the kids, get students to be themselves and not be awkward when conducting interviews or just doing a photoshoot. He understands the importance of what schools need for marketing purposes.
